The Rebel Medic.
Freddie Wilson, founder and owner of Rebel Medic Training Systems LLC.
Freddie has been in EMS for 30 years. A current practicing paramedic, an EMS education coordinator, program director, and product developer.
With over 10 years in EMS education, the Rebel Medic has taught at Virginia Military Institute, American National University, and in the Virginia community college system.
Those classes ran at institutions, and at local rescue squads and fire departments across Southwest Virginia. The same hole showed up in how didactic EMS is taught.
At the institution, the room often has high-fidelity manikins, with AI and VR software. At the station, the patient is usually another student. The acting cannot carry a proper patient assessment. Skin, history, and a response to treatment never quite arrive.
RM-IPS and RM-CCT were built for that room. A crew can assess a patient, then run the transport, on the laptop already at the station.
